  • Swim season is here! There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, 2/13 at 2:45pm in the cafeteria for students interested in joining the team. Come meet the coaches and get information on the season.

  • Today’s Black History Month Contribution comes from Senora Cortes’ TA who researched Langston Hughes. Langston Hughes was an American poet, social activist, novelist, playwright, and columnist from Joplin, Missouri. He moved to New York City as a young man, where he made his career. One of the earliest innovators of the then-new literary art form called jazz poetry, Hughes is best known as a leader of the Harlem Renaissance.
