Summer Tours and Programs for Rising 6th Graders

Rising 6th graders: We are excited for you to join the DHMS community. There are a few opportunities this summer to learn more about DHMS and becoming a middle schooler.

Orientation Tours: small‑group orientation tours with Mr. Kean, our Rising 6th Grade Counselor. These tours give students a chance to explore the building, meet DHMS staff, and connect with future classmates. Sign up for a tour here.

Summer Bridge Program:  We are excited to invite your student to our optional Summer Bridge Program designed to help rising 6th graders feel confident and prepared for middle school. Students will learn organization strategies, build routines for success, get familiar with DHMS expectations, and meet new classmates. Register here.
Monday, August 10, choose 1 of the following sessions:
Session 1: 9:00–11:30 AM
Session 2: 12:00–2:30 PM
