Academic Planning for 2026-2027

The following Academic Planning sessions will take place in January and February.

Rising 9th-grade students: 

High Schools will hold in-person Academic Planning Sessions:

• Wakefield: January 14, 2026, at 7 pm
• Washington-Liberty: January 8, 2026, at 6:30 pm
• Yorktown: January 15, 2026, at 7 pm

HS Counselors from Yorktown, WL, and Wakefield will come to DHMS on January 15 at 8:30 AM to present to students on graduation requirements, course options, and information about HS life.  Students will meet with the counselor from their assigned high school (even if they have applied to another school).

Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students:

Thursday, February 19th.

• Rising 6th Grade – Virtual at 7:00 PM
• Rising 7th Grade – Virtual at 7:00 PM
• Rising 8th Grade – In-Person in the DHMS auditorium at 7:00 PM
